ISAC’s Grand Holiday Open House

Thank you, thank you, thank you to EVERYONE who attended our Grand Holiday Open House this past weekend! It was, as always, so nice to see our old friends and even nicer to meet so many new ones! We hope that everyone had as much fun as we did!  I was going to write a loooooong blog describing the event, but I thought it might be fun to do a photo-blog. So, scroll down and enjoy! (Make sure you go all the way to the bottom, that’s where I share the winners of the ballot drawaing and our First Annual Snow Globe Competition!).

Laura McMillian (center in the above photo), enjoyed Scott’s demo so much that she asked if she could give me a quote for the blog (her mom is a big fan, yay!).

“Scott’s candy melt demo has been my favorite part of the Holiday Open House for three seasons running.

Candy making has been one of the highlights of Christmas since my mom first brought it out 25 years ago.

When she brought me to ISAC’s demo, we both learned so many neat tips and tricks from Scott!”- Laura McMillian

If there is anyone who has never worked with ISAC candy melts before, Scott has made himself available by appointment to teach you how to melt it, keep it melted, and will show you the basics of using it. All you need to do is call up and schedule an appointment! These chocolate appointments are availabe during business hours after December 1st.

Thank you again to everyone who came and enjoyed the weekend with us! We hope you had as much fun as we did! I don’t work in the gallery everyday, so it’s extra fun for me to hang with the ladies up front, drive Nick, Scott, and Larry crazy, but more than anything- I love meeting all of you! It was so nice to hear positive feedback about this blog! I write it for all of you to enjoy, so it’s uplifting to hear that I’m doing something right!  One last thing, I had several people ask how to subscribe to this blog (meaning you would get it in your email each week). If you look towards the top right of your page, along the black bar, there is a space to enter your email. Well… go ahead and add it in, and you’re done!

If you missed out on all the fun of this Open House, don’t fret! Our Spring Open House is already scheduled for March 28, 2015! It’s only one day (on a Saturday), but there are four sessions. If you would like to jump on the bandwagon early and sign up (yes, people are already signing up! In fact, many people at our Grand Holiday Open House signed up this weekend), you can call 1800-662-8925 or visit our class sign up page on our website: www.nicholaslodge.com

Sweetly yours,

Stephanie

  1. Another GREAT Holiday Open House! The Snow Globe Contest was fun and I hope it is something that is continued! I was thrilled to find out I won first prize in the drawing. I absolutely love taking classes from Chef. He is absolutely the BEST! And as an added treat I get to enjoy Scott’s wonderful cooking and to visit with the awesome staff there! Christmas came early for me this year!!
