Making a Splash with Katy Sue Designs!
Yesterday, Katy Sue Designs debuted its Seaside Collection! I am so excited for these new molds; they are a mix of realistic designs as well as some whimsical ones! There are eight great molds that you will all love!
As you can see from the photo above, there is a great mold with fish, seaweed, and coral. This mold has eight cavities: one coral, one seaweed, and six fish in different sizes and species! I’m a bit partial to the clown fish! 
Next up is the sweet seahorse mold. This comes with four seahorse cavities, two big and two small, and two different designs. The seashell mold comes with ten cavities and five designs. Like the seahorse mold, the five shell designs come in a small and large size. The different shell designs are various sizes, so you get a lot of variety in the one mold.
Oh, I love this Sea Swirl Border mold! The swirls look like rolling waves! The three different sizes ensure that you are ready for any size cake with any sized waves! I love how you can do all blue waves, or use dusting powder or an airbrush to create white cap waves!
When you are done rollicking in the waves, you will need someplace to relax. No worries, just grab your Katy Sue Designs Beach Hut mold! The little hut’s front features a cute little door with a round window. The mold also comes with a life-saver ring, pennant flag, and pail and shovel. I don’t know about you, but I am about ready for my own day at the beach! 
No beach hut is complete without a bit of driftwood decor. Katy Sue Designs has even created a mold for driftwood and little stones! These seaside accents even come with inspirational words!
Finally… my favorite two molds out of the Seaside Collection: MERMAIDS! There are two mermaid molds in the Seaside Collection. The first is the Mermaid Tail mold! You will recognize this from the first photo at the top of the blog. As you can see from that image, this mermaid tail looks amazing as a cupcake topper! I kind of want to throw a party just to use this fin-tastic mold!
If you are looking for more than just a little tail, then you will want to get the complete Mermaid mold. This adorable little mermaid has long, flowing hair, with a seashell accent, a pearl necklace, and of course- a beautiful tail!
